Clean the cookware thoroughly in hot water to remove any residual manufacturing oils, followed by a thorough rinse and drying. Prior to initial use, it is recommended to condition the cookware by gently applying 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of vegetable oil to the interior using a soft cloth. This conditioning process should be reiterated every 2 to 3 months for optimal performance. The addition of oil is optional; however, if opted for, it enhances the pan's protective properties.
