Our Story
"At an early age, I can remember riding my Pawpaw’s lap on the lawn mower with a Tervis Tumbler full of Sweet Tea! There are photos of me in the kitchen floor when I could barely sit up straight, drinking Sweet Tea from my baby bottle!"
"I first had the idea to sell Sweet Tea in High School. It wasn’t until I was fired from a job a few years later that I decided to pursue it. The week I got fired, I had $7 to my name. With the last paycheck I received, I used the $300 from that check to purchase the first jars, sugar, and tea that would eventually catapult this idea."
"I thought, Sweet Tea is the most Southern drink, and the word Y’all is the most Southern word. Let’s call it Y’all Sweet Tea!"

Our Owners
Darien Craig and Brandon Echols have been friends since they were 6yrs old. Growing up, both were raised on great sweet tea and spent many summer days cutting grass or playing Basketball in the driveway and would come inside and drink a whole gallon tea. It was these early days that inspired Darien’s vision for Y’all Sweet Tea! Once he had the idea, he knew Brandon was the partner he needed to help build the company!
The Early Years
In 2015, we started traveling to The Great Pumpkin Patch, festivals, and Farmers Markets with a truck full of Mayo Jars and freshly made Sweet Tea. We knew that our family recipe made the BEST Sweet tea, and we wanted to serve it to everyone! After 2 years of traveling, we knew 2 things: Our customers agreed that our tea was great, BUT doing events was NOT the best way to spread it to the masses.
The Spark
In 2020, we created our own blend of Black Teas that complimented our recipe and one that we believe is the best in the industry. We also started on a complete brand overhaul. Our Logo, Marketing Material, and how we would sell the product all changed. Darien saw an opportunity to use Social Media and Influencers to enter into an “old and stagnant” industry.
Y'all Sweet Tea Was Born
On April 10, 2021, we launched what you see now. Y’all Sweet Tea in gallon sized bags that you can purchase and make the EXACT same tea that our family makes! This process has allowed us to reach hundreds of thousands of people and better achieve our very first mission statement: “Deliver True Southern Sweet Tea to as many people as possible!”
Partnering With Brenda
Shortly thereafter, we partnered with Brenda Gantt, a Facebook Icon, who makes cooking videos with over 4 Million Followers! After this, we began working with many other influencers who would help make our name recognized as one of the great tea brands!
It's Been Great to Meet You!
If you are new to our brand, please give our tea a shot! We have over 25,000 5 Star Reviews online from customers all over the US. It does not come presweetened, so add as much or little sweetener as you’d like. Our family recipe is on the back of the bag, and this blend works best if you make it exactly like we do!
Thank You for stopping by, and remember, “One Glass ‘N You’ll Be Back!”
